Decent room layout with a spacious balcony ideal for relaxation. Clean accommodations set in a central area close to shops and the beach.

Bathroom ventilation limited to a small window, lacking screens on windows or doors. Microwave outdated and power points for devices were inadequate. Kitchen could use modern upgrades such as a mobile tap and coffee options.

Location: the hotel was just off the shops, wharf, and local beach as well as activities, shops, beautiful views, friendly comfortable. The room was modern and lovely sized, and with a lovely view of the bay. A fridge and a freezer were nice.

Spotless units with balcony as well as a fan, and the staff were exceptionally nice!

Perfect spot for families

The hosts Reid and Ann welcomed us beyond expectations and the room was fantastic with a spacious balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee while taking in the views. The kids loved the little kitchenette which helped us cook some homemade meals .

It was a bit pricey but considering the location and the service, it was still a good deal.

it was in an incredibly comfortable location walk from restaurants and bars. btw, the airport was 16 miles away. the room was romantic and new-fashioned, with well-organized space.

Marvellous and lovely location in a domestic area, very close to walking distance as well as super market. Spotless unit with a fridge and a freezer. Exceptionally nice, superfriendly people working here.

The two-bedroom apartment had fine sea views and a lovely balcony. The shower pressure could use improvement.

Motel is rignt in the middle of the town- just a minute from shops, restaurants and waterfront. Staff were very knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. Clean, spacious room with balcony. The small kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. Would definately stay here again.

The lady in charge was excellent . Friendly and helpful. She told us about the tourist attractions and also helped us plan our trip back to Auckland to ensure that we visited places of interest along the way. My husband and I would go back to stay at this motel.

Amazing stay with a fantastic view

The fine 240-degree balcony allowed us to relax and soak in the views, while the spacious room was equipped with a comfy bed and a great shower. It was super convenient being just a minute's walk from the seafront and local shops, and the friendly hosts, Reid and Ann, added to our pleasant experience.

I would have preferred something for the kids and definately a spa or pool.

The room was super comfy with a big bed and a nice shower. The balcony had a great view and was perfect for chillin out. It's literally just a minute to the beach and shops, so location is spot on. The hosts were reid and ann, so friendly and helpful!

the only downside was that if you like unpacking, there's not really a lot of drawer space.

This Motel was very convenient to everything.Very clean & Staff friendly & helpful.

The bed was a bit too hard for us.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean and very well appointed. Little extras like sewing kit and scissors - owners had thought of everything. Excellent location and exceptional value.
